If you have the setting on Annex M and it will not sync up double check all the other setting and if no error found please raise a ticket as the only logical explanation I can think of is that your 'Pro' status has not been activated and you are on Unlimited instead.
Unless of course there is a fault with the firmware setup on the router. Seems unlikely tho. |

Also may i add that if you save a config file of your settings as found in the backup page, if your router crashes, you can get it up running in seconds by restoring with config file.
Waz, you may want to add this info to your guide then delete my post. ![]() |

There's a guide i created HERE using backup files that i created for a Be* user who shall remain nameless that couldn't follow the Dummies Guide! - I couldn't decide whether to call it the "Sloth's Guide" or the "Chimp's Guide".
I will label the link to it in the Guide better. Thank's Waz |

Thanks for a very good guide.
Can I ask if it is possible to use this DG834GT in bridge mode? I hear good thing about the modem in this device and I'd like to try it out whilst still using my Linksys WRT54GL. I have the Linksys setup to do lots of good things, and already tried it in bridge with both a Belkin 7633 and the BeBox Speedtouch 780WL, works very well. I'd now like to try this Netgear and see if gives an edge in sync rate, or holds onto my occasionally noisy line a bit better, but I also want to keep the WRT54GL as the main workhorse. I'm looking for help or info about the Netgear in bridge mode before I buy one to try out. Thank you |
